As corporate web sites grow larger & require dynamic content
it very quickly becomes apparent that the site needs to be database
driven. This is especially true if site requires to refer to dynamic
information (i.e. stock levels, weather reports, customer accounts,
etc.)
Usually web sites utilising a database will have dynamic pages,
database searching and some form of access control mechanism. An
advanced database driven site might also include user registration,
password protected areas and personalization of the site for individual
users.
